Bracelet & necklace

I made those two according to video tutorial found on YouTube. Very understandable and easy to make, and as soon as I showed it to my friend, she said: "I want the red one!". So, here they are:

Scarf / bolero in Solomon's knot (aka Lover's knot)

One of my favorite accessories is bolero, which I made in stitch called Solomon's knot, or Lover's knot. This technique was new to me until recently, and design of bolero was perfect for it. It is light, stretches fine and can be worn over something, or on bare skin, over some top or strapless dress.

The first one is made of yarn in the color of wet sand, and that gave him some ancient, medieval (for me that was period of very romantic fashion details) look. It looks almost like made of some rope, but is actually very soft to touch.

And, not to forget, bolero can be used as scarf, or hooded scarf, or sort of top.

Sorry, my Dolly has no arms, so I had to use chair instead

Then I made very gentle one (that adjective stands because of the yarn it is made of). It is "wanna-be-white", or pale cream, but it looks like a fresh snow in parks, and sparkles like the very same snow under a street lamp.

Detail without flashlight, that way you can see sparkles best

Hairy lariats

This generation of lariats was made in combination of cotton thread, and acrylic one. That one is veeeery hairy. But not itchy.

Lariat diversity

OK. I made first one, loved the idea, and now I am exploring the effect of different materials on same design.

         So, these are new ones:

(The green one is 2m long, and the colorful one is 8m)

Spring/summer lariat scarf / necklace

Second version of lariat that I made is very jolly. This one reminds me of spring flowers.

Spring drops lariat scarf

It is 5,4m long, and can be worn throughout the year, as it is made of silky cotton thread, very light and smooth. Its color changes from almost white, through pink, to fuchsia.

And then I made a blooming one. Same material, but shorter. It is 3,2m long, and has only variations of pink and fuchsia colors (no white).

Lariat mushrooms

This is my first version of  lariat scarf. It is made of yarn that combines my favorite, tasty colors. I sometimes see them as forest mushrooms, sometimes as some cookies with berries. However, this lariat is smooth, soft and goes well with winter/spring clothes.

Lariat is around 4,2 m long, and it can be worn in many ways, I have chosen this one because it is easiest to see color variation like this. But it is up to you. Yarn is mix of wool and polyester.
